Grandparents' 60th Anniversary

One of the greatest couples I know is my grandparents.  They are such an inspiration in marriage and as the glue that holds our family together.  This past Saturday, we celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  All but five from our family were able to attend.  It was a wonderful weekend full of fun and creating more memories.
To help commemorate this special event, my cousin, Lindsay, and I decided to put together a scrapbook for them that encompassed all they have accomplished with their marriage.
Lindsay initiated it by asking all of our family members to send in pictures, and then we had the daunting task of putting it all together.  It was really fun to go through all that has happened through the years.  It was also really entertaining to visit some of those old hair styles and outfits again!
Here are some of the pages we included:
my grandparents with their six children
one of Lindsay's family pages

one of my family pages
All of the time and effort to put the book together was worth it when we got to watch them open and look through it!

  1. Erin,

This is a beautiful tribute to your grandparents. They must have been so thrilled when they opened this new family heirloom!
